Selina Coffey has used her gift to bring this tale to life. Allison has had a rough couple of years. First, losing her mom, then after her dad's accident, taking care of him for a yr and a half before he died. She's trying to put herself first now and get her footing again, but she feels adrift. She goes back to college with the thought of starting her own business but she just can't find a passion for it. Her economics professor Carlson helps her to realize this. Not only that, but they have a mutual attraction for each other!! The night they go on their first date together, she sees something she shouldn't and her life is in danger. Enter Officer Hank who is assigned to the case and takes it upon himself to personally protect her. College is a time for self awareness and for Allison, she learns a lot about herself.
Following this journey with her is a bit of a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs but you'll enjoy the journey. Will her discoveries be what you would have done? Perhaps, perhaps not. But you'll enjoy the process for sure.
Ever wonder what would happen if you witnessed something so unthinkable, then realized that your life was on the line because of it? How would you react? Perhaps fall to pieces, freak out, depend on strangers? Allison never imagined in her young life that she would witness such a horrific crime, let alone be haunted by the perpetrator, but that is exactly what has happened. And then, she finds herself depending on not one incredibly handsome man, but two, for her safety. And if that wasn't enough, she's definitely attracted to both of them. But is this all her mind shutting down, or is there a way to make it work? Will these two men even be willing to give it a try? And what will happen if she can't choose between them? So many questions with no answers in sight. And what about the person hunting her down? Will they ever be able to catch him?
A great read with just enough suspense, lots of hunky men, steamy sex and a happy ever after.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
If you're reading this be prepared for the story to o my take about 45 minutes to read, the rest of the time is spent with like 5 other parts of different books, also she only picks one of the two guys.
SHE ONLY PICKS ONE. sigh.
Tried reading this whole thing, only got just past the halfway mark. The female in this story kind of turned me off. She came across as being kind of really selfish in her quest of her sexual journey. The style of this writing was pretty boring, and seems to be written by one who is still very young herself. This book was pretty much a let down. Didn't bother reading the other stories in this book, since the first one was a turn off for me.
Great book, I was hooked from the get go. This book was well written and great characters. Would love to read more from them.
It was a pretty good read. Wish there could have been more to the relationship she had with the two of them. but it was a good none the less!
Uggggg what is the deal with all these books just being a collection of short stories? I only got through the first one and it was just dumb.
