The Christmas shoes should be read at least once. I know people who read it over and over again every year during the holiday season. I even read it to my grand daughter and we talked about cancer and love and she hung upon every word. She's 8 but very grown up. I gave them as gifts to my Jr. High bible class too!
I chose this rating as I felt it was a good book but the movie was different than the book. Both had the main plot, but they bad differences.
I bought the 3 books in this series for my sister whose birthday is in November. What a great way to start off the holiday season.
